It's the film that will leave you paranoid that your entire life is a lie - Truman (Jim Carrey) is completely unaware that his entire life has been staged, scripted, and filmed for a never ending reality TV channel 'The Truman Show'. His wife, family, work, and memories have all been fabricated. This wouldn't have become a problem for Truman if it hadn't been for his one true love, Sylvia (Natascha McElhone) who attempted to tell him the truth and was promptly taken out of the show. This is a gem of a film, and one of Jim Carrey's less comedic roles which definitely works.
